Welcome to Frame Extractor (“the App”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using the App.

Overview

The App allows users to:

• Select a recorded video from their device
• Browse the video frame-by-frame (precision up to 0.1 seconds)
• Capture and save a single image from the video
• Preserve metadata such as the video’s original date and location in the saved image

All processing occurs locally on the user’s device. No video content is uploaded or stored externally.

User Content & Permissions

By using the App, you grant permission for the App to:

• Access videos stored on your device solely for the purpose of enabling the described functionality
• Save selected screenshots and associated metadata to your device’s photo library

We do not collect, transmit, or store your video content. All media remains on your device.

Advertising & Tracking

The App may display third-party advertisements. To comply with privacy regulations, we implement App Tracking Transparency (ATT) on supported platforms. You will be prompted to grant or deny permission for tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies.

Analytics

We use analytics tools such as Firebase Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how users interact with the App. These tools may collect anonymized usage data, including:

• Device type and operating system
• App interactions (e.g., button clicks, session duration)
• Crash reports and performance metrics

This data helps us improve the App experience. No personal video content or screenshots are included in analytics.

Data Privacy

We respect your privacy. All video processing and image generation occur locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or share your media files. For more information on how your data is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including its design, features, and branding, are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
